I viisited Marilee today. We sat in the unit's common room and chatted for an hour. She has made an impressive recovery. She speaks with almost no hesitation. She says she's still having a bit of trouble with numbers, but that too is coming back. She's almost finished reading the SF book that she'd started before her hospitalization.
Tomorrow she'll have another chance to spend an hour online (using computers is part of the rehab program). I wouldn't be surprised if she updated her LiveJournal since she has now remembered her password.
Marilee says she's glad she was transferred to Mt. Vernon Hospital for physical therapy/rehab. It's a good program. They will evaluate her Monday to see if she's ready to go home as early as Tuesday or Wednesday.
I hope I can give her a ride home from the hospital. But there's a complication--tomorrow morning I drop my car off for a scheduled repair that might take a couple of days. I'll beg the shop to finish as soon as possible.

I spoke with Marilee on the phone today. They plan to release her around noon tomorrow!
Unfortunately there's almost no chance I'll have my car back in time to give her a ride home.
